Deputies arrested an Ithaca man in Steuben County after an incident involving a stolen vehicle.
Massia White-Saunders, 25, of Ithaca is accused of possessing and operating a stolen vehicle, fleeing police, put others at serious risk, and caused property damage in excess of $1,500 during the incident.
He’s also accused of restraining another person inside the vehicle in the process.
White-Saunders has been charged with reckless endangerment, criminal possession of stolen property, criminal mischief, unlawful imprisonment, and unlawfully fleeing a police officer.
Nearly all of the charges he faces are felonies, police said. Additional details about the incident were not released.
The sheriff’s office was assisted by multiple agencies, including New York State Police, Bath Police Department, Dansville Police Department, Cohocton Police Department, and Wayland Police Department.
