The Seneca County Board of Supervisors is taking a closer look at ambulance service there.
The issue, which has been lightly debated over the last few months, will be part of a $48,000 study.
The study will target methods for financial support and continued operation of ambulance service.
North Seneca Ambulance sought donations last month from residents, and for funding from north end towns.
They say reimbursements from the state are lacking, which means that North Seneca is often left with a negative balance on most individual bills for service.
