  • Staff Report

Deputies arrested a 40-year-old following a domestic dispute in the town of Wayland on May 11.

Matthew Losey, 40, is accused of choking a person during a domestic incident.

The victim was fearful for her safety, deputies added, and noted that the incident put a child under the age of 17 in jeopardy.

Losey then resisted arrest when police arrived. He was charged with criminal mischief, menacing, criminal obstruction of breathing, and endangering the welfare of a child.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
