McDonald’s drive-thru worker pepper sprayed by duo who robbed fast food store

The Rochester Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place at a McDonald’s on Mt. Hope Ave. on Friday night.

According to the police, the incident occurred at around 10 p.m. when two men approached the drive-thru window on foot and pepper-sprayed the employee before stealing the cash register.


The suspects fled the scene in a blue sedan, and no arrests have been made at this time. The employee was treated at the scene and taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The Rochester Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in finding the individuals responsible for this crime. Anyone with information is asked to contact the police immediately by calling 911. The police are urging the community to remain vigilant and to report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods.
