The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an accident that happened in Victor where a 15-year-old was struck by a car.
Deputies say they were called to the area of High Street and Piper Meadow Drive around 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday for the report of a pedestrian struck by a vehicle.
Investigators determined that the juvenile attempted to cross the road while a southbound vehicle failed to yield the right of way.
The juvenile was sent to Strong Memorial Hospital with non-life threatening injuries and is expected to make a full-recovery.
The operator of the vehicle, identified as 42-year-old Moniche Heusler, of Farmington, was ticketed for their role in the incident.
