Deputies say an inmate at the Ontario County Jail is facing new charges for promoting prison contraband.
On Tuesday, January 24th Benjamin Greenfield was arrested at the Ontario County Jail and charged with first-degree promoting prison contraband.
According to the investigation, on January 22nd at approximately 10:35 p.m. he was found to be in possession of Suboxone sublingual strips, a controlled substance.
Greenfield was arraigned in the Centralized Arraignment Part and is currently being held without bail on the charge. He is set to appear in the Town of Hopewell Court at a later date for further proceedings.
