On January 20th state troopers from Bath conducted a traffic stop on a UTV on County Route 17 and Moss Hill Road in the town of Bradford.
During the stop, troopers detected a strong odor of alcohol coming from the operator, 51-year-old Kris E. Calkins of Campbell.
After an investigation, Calkins was arrested for driving while intoxicated with a previous conviction within the last 10 years, a class E felony. He was also charged with several traffic violations.
Calkins was issued an appearance ticket and released to a sober third party. He is scheduled to appear in the Town of Bradford Court on February 13th.
