The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team fell to the Miami Hurricanes, 82-78, on Monday night at the Watsco Center. With the loss, the Orange dropped to (12-7, 5-3) on the season.
Syracuse had several opportunities to win this game, but mistakes and turnovers hurt the Orange down the stretch.
Three players finished in double figures for Syracuse. Jesse Edwards led the way with a career-high 25 points and 11 rebounds, recording his ninth double-double. Joe Girard netted 21 points, while Benny Williams poured in 12 points.
