Fayette resident charged with DWI after missing red light

On January 8th local authorities arrested a 47-year-old Fayette resident for driving while intoxicated.

The incident occurred at around 6:00 p.m., when Seneca County Sheriff’s Office deputies pulled over Tracy R. Wolff for failing to stop at a flashing red light at the intersection of County Road 121 and State Route 96. Wolff was operating a 2020 Ford Expedition at the time.

After a roadside investigation, the deputies determined that Wolff was under the influence of alcohol.

He was transported to the Seneca County Jail for processing and later released on an appearance ticket.

Wolff is scheduled to appear in Fayette Town Court at a later date to answer charges of failing to stop at a flashing red light, driving while intoxicated, and driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or higher.
