A devastating fire tore through a Campbell, Steuben County home on Tuesday leaving its residents with little left.
Local authorities received reports of the blaze at around 4 p.m. on January 10th and immediately dispatched firefighters to the scene on Hamilton Road. When they arrived, they found the house fully engulfed in flames.
Firefighters from multiple departments, including Savona, Campbell, Painted Post, Bath, and AMR Ambulance worked tirelessly to put out the fire, which was finally contained by 4:55 p.m. The aftermath of the fire saw crews on the scene, cleaning up debris and assessing the extent of the damage.
At this time, there is no official word on the cause of the fire or if there were any injuries sustained. The local authorities are investigating the incident.
