Palmyra-Macedon boys swimming takes down Churchville-Chili

The Palmyra-Macedon boys’ swimming team hosted the Churchville-Chili Saints on Tuesday. Pal-Mac dominated the first half of the meet and finished with a win.

Pal-Mac had double winners with Hayden Smith in the 50 Freestyle (24.86) and the 100 Freestyle (55.48) and George Newsome in the 200 Freestyle (2:02.49) and the 500 Freestyle (5:22.63).

Other individual winners for the Red Raiders included Avery Fedor in the 100 Individual Medley (2:30.02), Collin Smith in the 100 Backstroke (1:06.27), and Jaydon Anthony in the 100 Breaststroke (1:17.68).

Pal-Mac took first in all three relays with Avery Fedor, Jaydon Anthony, Collin Smith, and Brendon Trapiss in the 200 Medley Relay (1:58.41), Colson Pallo, Hayden Smith, Jaydon Anthony, and Avery Fedor in the 200 Freestyle Relay (1:43.56), and Hayden Smith, James Sanson, Collin Smith, and George Newsome in the 400 Freestyle Relay (4:02.43).

The final score of the meet was 104 to 79, with Pal-Mac taking the win against Churchville-Chili. Pal-Mac’s next meet will be at Marcus Whitman on Thursday, December 22, when they travel to take on the Wildcats at 4:30 p.m
