Syracuse cornerback Garrett Williams officially announced Thursday that he is declaring for the 2023 NFL Draft.
Williams spent three years with Syracuse and was a 2022 team captain. He appeared in seven games this past season before suffering a torn ACL.
He concludes his Orange career with 152 tackles out of the secondary, 9.5 tackles for loss, and two sacks. He had four interceptions and 23 pass breakups as well and led the ACC in pass breakups in both 2020 and 2021.
Williams is the second Syracuse player to officially declare for the NFL draft, joining fullback Chris Elmore.
