Police arrested a 14-year-old for falsely reporting an incident after an investigation in the town of Seneca Falls.
On Thursday around 11 a.m. police charged the teen with a misdemeanor count of falsely reporting an incident.
The teen, who was not identified, is accused of making a false police report of an alleged incident. The incident didn’t take place, police said.
An investigation determined that the teen made up the incident knowing it didn’t occur.
She was petitioned to appear in probation at a later date.
