It was a big day for officials with Tops Friendly Markets and grocery shoppers in Canandaigua on Tuesday.
Tops officially unveiled its new-look store in Canandaigua during a ribbon cutting ceremony.
A $1.8 million renovation took place, bringing LED lighting, self-checkouts, improved flooring and bathrooms, as well as a new redemption center.
The biggest improvement, though, officials with the chain say, is making the stores more navigable.
This included improvements to signage, as well as aisle markers to make shopping more convenient.
