The Buffalo Sabres made several roster moves ahead of Saturday’s game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Buffalo recalled forward Brett Murray and defenseman Kale Clague from the Rochester Americans, the team announced Saturday. Forward Vinnie Hinostroza and defenseman Henri Jokiharju have been placed on injured reserve.
Murray, 24, is tied for the team lead in Rochester with nine goals and ranks third with 15 points. He has played in 21 games with Buffalo over the past two seasons, tallying six points (2 goals, four assists).
Clague, 24, has played seven games for the Sabres this season and tallied one assist.
