The Syracuse Orange men’s basketball team (3-3) will try to snap a two-game skid against the Illinois Fighting Illini (5-1) on Tuesday night at the State Farm Center.
The two teams will meet on the hardwood for the first time in 27 years. The Orange took the last meeting, 75-64, on December 27, 1995.
Syracuse is coming off a 73-72 loss to Bryant, while Illinois is coming off a 92-59 victory over Lindenwood.
Tuesday’s game will be televised on ESPN, with tipoff set for 7:30 p.m.
