Powerball: No winner, jackpot to grow to $1.9 billion on Monday

A record Powerball jackpot grew even larger on Sunday after no winner was drawn Saturday night.

The jackpot will swell to $1.9 billion or more on Monday.

The winning numbers for Saturday’s drawing were 28, 45, 53, 56, 69 and red Powerball 20.

The new $1.9 billion jackpot will be paid through an annuity over 29 years.

The lump sum payment, which winners typically prefer will be approximately $930 million.

The odds to win are impossibly long. In fact, it’s 1 in 292.2 million.

The last time someone won was on August 3rd. There have now been 40 drawings without a winner.

Powerball is played in 45 states, as well as Washington, D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
