More than 7,000 pounds of Bob Evans pork sausage was issued a recall for containing thin blue rubber.

The recall was issued by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and Food Safety and Inspection Services on Friday, according to My Twin Tiers.
In all 7,560 pounds are being recalled as of Friday.
What happened with the recall on Bob Evans sausage and the thin blue rubber?
One item has been impacted from the recall.
All 1 pound chubs that hold Bob Evans Italian Sausage with the lot code XEN3663466 and a use or freeze by date of 11/26/22 with the time snap between 14:43 and 15:25 are impacted.
These tubes of sausage were made on Sept. 8, 2022 and will have EST. 6785 on the USDA mark of inspection.
Consumer complaints brought attention to the thin blue rubber being found inside of the sausage, prompting the recall.
The FSIS reports that there haven’t been any reports of adverse reactions from the blue rubber inside of the pork.
If you have this product in your fridge or freezer, you’re urged to throw them away or return them where you bought them.
