McDonald’s is known to bring back its infamous McRib every once in a while, but don’t miss your chance at this limited time item.

McDonald’s has hinted that it’s making its yearly return for the fall, but this is the last time you may be able to get it.
The McRib is one of America’s favorite menu items, but it’s not available all year round like most menu items.
McRib and its history with McDonald’s
According to My Twin Tiers, the McRib was sold at 10,000 of the 14,000 stores throughout the U.S. in 2019.
In 2020 it was made available across the nation for the first time since 2012.
It returned again for a short amount of time in 2021.
The sandwich first came out in 1981 in Kansas City, Kansas and created a fanbase quickly.
Part of what made it popular was how limited of an item it was, which made getting it a feat all on its own.
The sandwich was created to be consumed more in the colder seasons intentionally.
A 2017 tweet from McDonald’s explained that it was sporadically available based on customer demand locally.
The description for the McRib’s return in 2022 is “the McRib Farewell Tour.” The McRib may be here for a limited time that could be permanent.
Customers are asked to order the item before it’s gone on 11/20/22.
The date you can start buying the sandwich has not been shared yet but many restaurants have shared that it will be out as soon as this week.
