Deputies: Driver charged with aggravated DWI after rollover crash in Fayette

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office says one person is facing an aggravated DWI charge after a one-vehicle rollover crash in the town of Fayette.

It happened on Sunday around 7 p.m. on Lerch Road.


Upon arrival deputies found the operator had self-extricated from the vehicle and was uninjured.

The driver was identified as Alexandra Nichols, 23, who was under the influence of alcohol, according to deputies.

Nichols was charged with aggravated DWI, DWI, open container, and moving from lane unsafely.

The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
