Police arrested a 36-year-old Seneca Falls man following a domestic dispute on Thursday.
Around 7:20 a.m. police arrested James Dyer, 36, following the dispute at a local residence.
Dyer had been arguing with a woman and threw a blunt object at her resulting in an injury.
He was found to be in possession of multiple firearms illegally due to a prior felony conviction.
Dyer was charged with assault, criminal possession of a weapon, and menacing. He was taken into custody and processed at the Seneca County Correctional Facility.
An order of protection was issued on behalf of the victim.
