Big changes are coming at the Naples Library.
A groundbreaking ceremony will take place Thursday at the site of an expansion project. The Naples Library will receive grant funding to help complete the $1.3 million project.
The library will see significant upgrades, which have become necessary in recent years as libraries become more important in rural communities.
“The inclusion of an elevator will make a big difference for a lot of people and we are really proud to be able to make changes to our building without putting the burden on our taxpayers, which was made possible due to the State Aid for Library Construction Grant,” Library Director Kendyl Litwiller-Sutherby said.
The ceremony is slated for 4 p.m.
