Buffalo Bills head coach Sean McDermott spoke to the media on Monday afternoon and provided updates on several injured players.
Rookie cornerback Christian Benford broke his hand in Sunday’s game against the Miami Dolphins and will have surgery on Tuesday. McDermott said he expects him to miss “a couple of weeks.”
Offensive lineman Tommy Doyle tore his ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.
Wide receiver Jake Kumerow is “week-to-week” with a high ankle sprain.
Offensive lineman Ryan Bates is in concussion protocol.
The status of DT Ed Oliver (ankle), DT Jordan Phillips (hamstring), and S Jordan Poyer (foot) are still unclear heading into Week 4 at Baltimore, but McDermott said all three are “improving”.
