The Yates County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help finding the persons responsible for road sign thefts.

The sheriff’s office said stealing road signs is a crime, and one that creates a public safety hazard.

There have been five signs stolen from around the county. In recent weeks.

Anyone with information that could help investigators find who’s responsible should call (315) 536-4438.
