Whether you love coffee year round or only enjoy fall flavors– we are in the midst of pumpkin spice season.

Here are six coffee chains that offer some enticing fall flavors, but only for the season.

Fall flavors
In most places, leaves haven’t started changing– which indicates the fall season for most people. However, coffee chains are gearing up for the season will fall-inspired drinks and treats. Apple, pumpkin, and cinnamon are considered cold-weather flavors and an increased amount of people will order drinks hot, rather than iced. Here are six of the most popular coffee chains and what they are expected to serve up this fall season.
Starbucks
The beloved pumpkin spice latte (PSL) is back, although it is a little bit more expensive this year than compared to last. Starbucks launched their 2022 fall menu on August 30. A personal fall favorite is a chai tea latte– hot or iced, but if you are a pumpkin fan, try adding pumpkin cream cold foam! Starbucks is also offering Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato.
Starbucks is also offering seasonal treats like Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins, iced Pumpkin Scones, and Instagram-worthy Owl Cake Pops.
Dunkin
Dunkin fans already know that fall came early this year. Fall items became available on August 10th. Glazed Pumpkin Cake Donuts, Pumpkin Munchkins, Pumpkin Muffins, and Maple Sugar Bacon Breakfast Sandwiches are all on the seasonal menu.
A variety of fall drinks are also available. These include:
- Pumpkin Spice Signature Latte
- Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
- Nutty Pumpkin Coffee
- Blood Orange Refresher
These items will be on the menu through November 1. Luckily, Halloween specials will follow closely. Dunkin’s spooky drinks are set to launch on October 12.
Tim Hortons
On August 24th Tim Hortons launched their limited time fall menu. It includes Pumpkin Spice Iced Capp, Pumpkin Spice Cream Cold Brew with Cold Foam, and of course, a standard Pumpkin Spice Latte. Pumpkin Spice Muffins and Glazed Donuts will also be available for a limited time.
Peet’s Coffee
Peet’s Coffee is offering introducing four new fall-inspired drinks and three returning favorites. The coffee chain will be bringing back the Pumpkin Latte, limited-edition Vine & Walnut Blend coffee, and its sweet and savory Peet’s Chicken & Waffles Sandwich.
The new additions can be purchased hot or cold. The Caramel Apple Latte, plant-based Pumpkin Cold Brew Oat Latte with Brown Sugar Jelly, and Apple Cinnamon Oat Latte available exclusively for Peetnik Rewards Members.
Customers will also be able to enjoy their favorite fall flavors at home. Peet’s released Pumpkin Spice Flavored K-Cup pods. The seasonal offerings will be available the through November 1st. However, there is an exception– the Chicken & Waffles Sandwich, which will be offered until January 3, 2023.
Dutch Bros
In past years Dutch Bros featured the Caramel Pumpkin Brulée flavor, served as a breve, cold brew, or Dutch Freeze. In 2020, they also released the Citrus Cinnabear energy drink and the Cinnamon Swirl Oat Milk Latte.
Caribou Coffee
The Caribou Coffee chain is based in the mid-west. The company made an intentional decision not to start serving pumpkin until the very end of August. If there is a location near you consider checking out the Nitro Pumpkin Latte or the Pumpkin White Mocha, both made with real pumpkin! Or there is a Hot Apple Blast which is a a hot apple cider mixed with caramel.
