Police arrested a Rochester man for driving while intoxicated after report on Sunday of a reckless driver.
A little before 8 p.m. on Sunday police received a report of a reckless driver on Liberty Street in Penn Yan.
Officers located the vehicle leaving a local business and initiated a traffic stop on Elm Street.
While speaking with 31-year-old Daniel Hansen, a Rochester resident, officers observed signs of intoxication. He was taken into custody and transported to the Yates County Public Safety Building for processing.
Police say appearance tickets were issued.
