The town of Geneva is working to provide energy savings for its residents.
HeatSmart Monroe will provide energy audits, educational programs
Geneva Town Supervisor Mark Venuti says HeatSmart Monroe will conduct free energy audits for residents and will provide information on technologies such as geothermal heat pumps, that can save residents on their energy bills, with no obligation.

Town gets Clean Energy Community points, NYSERDA funds
Geneva is a NYSERDA Clean Energy Community. If at least five residents get audits through the HeatSmart Monroe program, and at least three take some sort of energy-saving action, the town will get Clean Energy points that will qualify it for a $5,000 NYSERDA grant.
There are HeatSmart programs for residents throughout the state.
