The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce held its August Business After Hours Networking Mixer at Zugibe Vineyards on Wednesday August 10. About 25 Chamber members and partners attended the event which included wine tastings, and grounds tours, featuring the stunning lake and vineyard views of the property, located at 4248 East Lake Road in Geneva.
A family owned and operated business, Zugibe Vineyards began in 2005 with 23 acres of vinifera wine grapes. Since then, it has grown to 40 acres, comprising 11 different varietals, including Riesling, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Pinot Noir, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Merlot, Lemberger, Sauvignon Blanc and Grüner Veltliner. Carrying on the tradition and vision of what was started with their father before his passing, the business is run today by brothers, Frederick T. Zugibe III, winemaker; Brendan Zugibe, events and wholesale operations; and Sean Zugibe, vineyard manager. The property features a tasting room, wine shop, and bistro with a specialty menu. The next Business After Hours Networking Mixer will be hosted by Climbing Bines Wood Fired in downtown Geneva on Wednesday September 14 from 4-6 PM. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members and is included for all 2022 BAH Season Pass Holders. Reservations are required one week in advance.
