Robbery at Citizens Bank in Newark: Police ask for public’s help

Police in Newark are asking for the public’s help locating a person who robbed the Citizens Bank on West Miller Street last week.

The robbery happened on Thursday, when a man entered the bank wearing a blue surgical mask, a green neon shirt, red shorts, and black sneakers.

He handed the teller a note and fled.

Deputies and state police assisted with the search, which turned up nothing.
