A Hammondsport man was arrested following a reported break-in on July 27.
According to a news release, the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office arrested Richard H. Rosenkrans, 64, of Hammondsport for burglary and robbery.
It is alleged that Rosenkrans entered a dwelling without permission in the Town of Urbana and forcibly stole property from another person.
Rosenkrans will answer the charges at a later date.
