Waterloo man charged with DWI after suspicious incident

Police say a Waterloo resident was charged following a suspicious incident on Thursday.

According to a news release, State Police arrested Joshua R. Read, 31, of Waterloo for felony driving while intoxicated.

Troopers responded to a suspicious incident in the area of Leader and Watt Road in Fayette. Upon arrival, troopers observed the vehicle speeding on Woodworth Road. During investigation, Read was found to be operating the motor vehicle while intoxicated. He was also issued multiple traffic tickets.

All charges are returnable to the Town of Fayette Court at a later date.
