Wayne County Dems announce Attorney General James as guest speaker for August picnic

New York Attorney General Letitia James will be the guest speaker at the Wayne County Democratic Committee Picnic this August.

The picnic is back in full swing following a two-year hiatus with the event planned for Sunday, August 7 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at B. Forman Park in Pultneyville.

Committee ‘thrilled’ to have AG James as guest speaker at 2022 Picnic

“We are thrilled that Attorney General James will be visiting Wayne County to support strong Democratic candidates in local, state, and congressional races throughout the Finger Lakes,” said 2022 Picnic Chair Ellen Zuroski in a release last week. “The Attorney General’s exceptional reputation definitely precedes her, and a lot of people are eager for the chance to know her a little better!”

The picnic is a popular summer fundraiser, said the committee. This year’s event features a pulled pork meal including a sandwich, mac and cheese, salt potatoes, cole slaw and cornbread from Riblicious. Non-pork and non-meat options are also available.
