Police say a Corning man who led officers on a pursuit that started in Watkins Glen was taken into custody in Hammondsport.
Semachiah Mcduffie, 27, of Corning was found to be in possession of a stolen handgun and counterfeit money after the incident.
He was charged with criminal possession of a forged instrument, criminal possession of a weapon, unlawful fleeing, and was issued traffic tickets, too.
All of the charges will be answered at a later date.
