A Corning resident was arrested following a police chase.
According to a news release, the Schuyler County Sheriff’s Office arrested Semachiah K. Mcduffie, 27, of Corning for criminal possession of a weapon, unlawfully fleeing a police officer, aggravated unlicensed operation, and reckless driving.
Charges allege that Mcduffie led police on a chase from Watkins Glen to Hammondsport. During the investigation, Mcduffie was found to be in possession of counterfeit money and a stun gun. Mcduffie was also issued several vehicle traffic law violations.
Mcduffie was arraigned in Schuyler County Court.
