Fayette says new sewer line, district won’t have environmental impact

The town of Fayette is one step closer to a new sewer district.

The Town Board determined recently that a proposed sewer line extension and sewer district formation will not have an adverse environmental impact.

The new sewer line will run from the western boundary of Fayette and continue north to the village of Waterloo.

It will be low pressure and use pumping stations to move waste to the force main, according to the Finger Lakes Times.

A full pump station will be built too.
