State police report the arrest of two people after a traffic stop on County Route 19 in Dix.
While interviewing the driver, identified as Robert Wood, 36, of Corning it was determined that he had a suspended license.
During a search of the vehicle, troopers observed two plastic bags containing methamphetamine and other drug paraphernalia.
Stephanie Steward, 29, of Corning told the trooper that the baggies were hers.
Wood was issued traffic tickets to return to local court at a later date.
Stewart was charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminal use of drug paraphernalia.
