State police in Oneida County made an arrest after a school threat in the town of Verona.
Around 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday the Durhamville Elementary School was placed into lockdown protocol after receiving a threatening phone call.
The individual made threats toward a staff member, according to police.
Members of the New York State Police, Oneida Police Department, Oneida County Sheriff’s Department, and Madison County Sheriff’s Department all responded to the scene.
Jase McMullin, 31, was charged with making a terroristic threat following an investigation.
McMullin was transported to the Oneida County Public Safety Building for arraignment.
