Yankees smack six home runs in win over Cubs

The New York Yankees defeated the Chicago Cubs, 8-0, on Saturday night at Yankee Stadium to secure another series win.

The Bronx Bombers smacked six home runs, with two of them coming from Aaron Judge. Giancarlo Stanton, Gleyber Torres, Jose Trevino, and Anthony Rizzo also went deep.

Isiah Kiner-Falefa drove in a run with an RBI single, and Judge collected his third RBI of the game with a sacrifice fly.

Jordan Montgomery started on the bump and tossed seven shutout innings while striking out five. Ron Marinaccio and Lucas Luetge each had scoreless outings in relief.

The Yankees will go for the three-game sweep on Sunday afternoon with Jameson Taillon on the hill. The first pitch is slated for 1:35 p.m.
