Rochester Red Wings drop fourth straight to St. Paul

The Rochester Red Wings were unable to snap their skid on Friday night as they fell to the St. Paul Saints, 6-4, at CHS Field. The Red Wings have now dropped four consecutive games.

Cade Cavalli started on the mound for Rochester and allowed four runs on six hits over five innings while walking four and striking out five. Francisco Perez surrendered two runs (one earned) in relief, while Luis Avilán and Matt Brill each fired a scoreless inning.


Andrew Stevenson smacked his fourth home run of the season, and Josh Palacios crushed his sixth of the season. Jake Noll drove in a run with a double, and Donovan Casey collected an RBI with a sacrifice fly. Palacios had two of the team’s six hits.

Game five of the series is slated for Saturday at 8:07 p.m.
