The weekend provided many talking points for the professional baseball squads down in New York City. The Yankees are still cruising in first place in the AL East after rain forced two postponements against the Texas Rangers. Paul Russo and Kyle Evans discuss the double-header yesterday in The Bronx which the teams split. They will also touch on Rangers manager Chris Woodard’s comments on Yankee Stadium after Gleyber Torres’ walk-off home run. The Mets took another series, once again downing the Philadelphia Phillies. Paul and Kyle talk about the series and the incredible comeback the Mets had on Thursday in game one of the series.
Rochester and Syracuse hosted series last week, the Red Wings took the series victory against Scranton-Wilkes Barre, while the SMets struggled early against Lehigh Valley but salvaged the weekend. The Red Wings are off to their best start since the 2007 season and the SMets appear to be turning the page. Paul and Kyle talk about what is making these teams click, their main players making the most impact and what is ahead for them for the week.
