Félix Peña got the start for Syracuse and allowed a pair of runs over 4.2 innings while walking four and striking out two.
Rob Zastryzny surrendered three runs in relief while Yoan López allowed an unearned run and Justin Dillon threw a scoreless inning.
Syracuse scored both of their runs in the seventh inning. Daniel Palka and Nick Meyer smacked back-to-back home runs.
