The Annual Cruisin’ Night and Block Party in downtown Penn Yan returns for its 24th year. Please join the Yates County Chamber of Commerce on Friday, June 17th from 5-8pm for a great night of classic and antique vehicles for your viewing lined up along Main Street. The major sponsors for this year’s event are WFLR Radio, Village Drug, and Pinckney Hardware.
Ruby Shooz, New York’s classic 50’s & 60’s Rock ‘n Roll band will be performing from 5:00-8:00pm on Jacob Street. In addition to many great local restaurants, Area 315 Food Truck, Biggie’s Burritos, Bowls & Tacos, Dainty Donuts & Seneca Farms will be on site during the event. Stop by the Elks Lodge for the traditional hot dog roast and be sure to check out downtown merchants.
Wander down to Lake Street Park for the Mozaic Family Fun Zone and 7thAnnual Duck Race. There will be carnival games and treats, prizes, bounce house, hot dogs, and more starting at 4:00pm. They will be releasing their ducks for the Duck Race Fundraiser at 6:00pm. Be sure to get your duck tickets in advance HERE.
Main Street in Penn Yan will close to vehicular traffic at 2:00pm and registration for the event begins at 4:00pm. If you’d like to register your vehicle for Cruisin’ Night, visit online for the forms and information. Pre-Registration will be accepted until Thursday, June 16th at 5:00pm. Vendor applications are also available by request if you’re interested in featuring your business or organization.
