The next round of Social Security checks is set to go out in early May.
About 64 million people get the benefit.
When will I get my benefit
Social Security checks have been larger than years past because of the cost-of-living adjustment to account for inflation. Inflation has reached 8.5% and could get higher. Read more about it here.
In May the payments will go out:
- May 11: if your birth date is between the 1st-10th of the month
- May 18: if your birth date is between 11th-20th
- May 25: if your birth date is between 21st-31st
If you want to check on your payment, you can do so by creating a My Social Security account here.
Stimulus: 660,000 Americans with these jobs may see $750 payments
