Five candidates are seeking three open seats on the Seneca Falls Central School District Board of Education.
It’s the first time in 16 years that a race for school board has been contested.
Incumbent Linda Jones is seeking another term, while challengers Denise Lorenzetti, Steve Clemenson, Tony Ferrara, and Matthew Lando enter the field for the first time.
Jeff Hartwell and William Reigel are not seeking re-election.
The election will be held May 17.
