If you do have income it must be very little and not pass a certain amount.
You cannot have over $2,000 as an individual or $3,000 if you’re a couple claiming SSI.
The most recent payment for April was sent on April 1.
There are two payments in April because the first of May falls on a Sunday this year.
This means May’s payment will be sent at the end of April.
The next payment will go out on June 1, 2022.
While $841 is the maximum people see, the average SSI payment is around $621.
