Police say a Penn Yan resident was taken into custody on an arrest warrant.
According to a news release, the Penn Yan Police Department arrested Sadiki Graham, 38, of Penn Yan for failure to appear in court.
Police responded to an incident that took place in a municipal parking lot in the village. Upon investigation, it was discovered Graham had an active warrant out of Massena for failure to appear in St. Lawrence County Court.
Graham was taken into custody and will answer charges at a later date.
