Forest rangers rescue person in town of Bristol after accident

Forest rangers say a rescue took place in the town of Bristol on state land following an injury.

Rangers responded with local first responders, who stabilized the person’s leg, and transported them to another location for ambulance transport.

The call took place around 11:30 a.m. on April 8.

Forest rangers indicated that Canandaigua Ambulance transported the person to a local hospital.

All resources were clear from the scene about an hour later.
