The Geneva Area Chamber of Commerce will be hosting its third Business After Hours Networking Mixer of 2022 at the Geneva History Museum, located at 543 South Main Street, on Wednesday, April 13th from 4-6 pm.
Historic Geneva, formerly the Geneva Historical Society who have been Chamber Members for over four decades, recently oversaw an entire brand refresh. Even though they have a new look, Historic Geneva’s mission remains the same.
By using traditional and digital media such as exhibits, programs, publications, blogs, online platforms, and more, Historic Geneva has become an integral part of the community. By actively connecting Geneva’s past and present, Historic Geneva is dedicated to engaging diverse audiences in an ongoing dialogue about their shared heritage.
The Geneva History Museum found its permanent location in 1960 when Beverly and Edith Chew deeded their home at 543 South Main Street to the Historical Society. Because of an expansion of exhibits and public programs, the Geneva History Museum saw an addition to the back of the house in 1965. This addition, known as the Hucker Gallery, provides exhibit and program space for Historic Geneva, collections storage, and acts as an archival vault.
At the Geneva Area Chamber’s April Mixer, guests will have the opportunity to enjoy refreshments and light appetizers as well as take tours of the Geneva History Museum with Historic Geneva’s knowledgeable staff. A presentation and drawing for raffle and door prizes as well as a group photo will take place shortly after 5 pm.
Admission to the April BAH Mixer is included for any 2022 BAH Season Pass holders. For all other attendees, admission is $5 for members, $10 for non-members. Business After Hours Season Pass Holders are also encouraged to use their guest passes and bring a co-worker or friend to this month’s BAH Mixer.
Attendees are asked to RSVP no later than Monday, April 11th, by contacting the Chamber at 315-789-1776 or emailing [email protected].
