Police say a Tioga county man was arrested following a traffic stop.
According to a news release, State Police out of Horseheads arrested Craig M. Carman, 43, of Waverly for criminal possession of a controlled substance.
Upon the traffic stop, it was found that Carman has a suspended New York State driver’s license along with an active warrant out in the village of Horseheads. Carman was also found in possession of an unknown substance during a safety search.
He was issued appearance tickets and will return to the Town of Van Etten Court at a later date to answer charges.
