Town of Fayette appoints two new board members

The Fayette Town Board appointed two new members at their Thursday, March 10 meeting.

Keith Tidball has been selected to fill trustee Jeff Trout’s position, which was left vacant in November 2021 after Trout was elected Town Supervisor, according to Finger Lakes Times. Tom Murray will replace board member Bill Goff, who recently resigned and announced his relocation to Florida.

With the addition of Tidball and Murray, the board is now at full capacity with five members. Both men will serve until the end of 2022 unless they run for election in November.

Tidball, who is currently an Independence Party member, has filed to switch to the Republican Party. Murray is registered Republican, as are the other board members.
